GEDCOM

Transfer and share your family tree across a multitude of different software.

GEDCOM

GEDCOM is synonymous with genealogy research, thousands of family historians use it to save and swap their data from application to application. It is the file format that has been used for

exchanging genealogical data between different genealogy software for decades. GEDCOM was developed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) as an aid to genealogical research.

OneFam understand the need and requirement for both genealogists, historians and amateurs alike. We have ensured that our applications both support and foster the development of the de-facto file format.

Through OneFam genealogy desktop software we have made it quick and easy to import/export GEDCOM files. Additionally we have even added it to our online application.
